Fresh install: a classic white wood picket fence with French Gothic caps set on the existing red-brick base, wrapping the front yard of a Los Angeles residence.

What we built
- Traditional wood picket fence — solid pine pickets primed and painted crisp white, spaced for airy old-school street presence.
- French Gothic picket tops — the pointed decorative shape that reads immediately as classic Americana and adds vertical rhythm along the run.
- Full-height corner and line posts with pointed post caps — matched to the picket profile for a cohesive silhouette.
- Anchored to existing brick base — brought new-fence life to the original masonry footing without demolition. Blue painter’s tape at the bottom is the final paint touch-up mask, not the finish.

Why traditional wood
For the right home — bungalow, cottage, or older LA neighborhood — vinyl looks wrong. Real wood painted white ages beautifully, matches historic character, and is fully repairable in place if a picket ever needs swapping.
