Step 1: Diagnosis and Condition Assessment
Before beginning work, our professional restorers conducted a thorough assessment of the door's condition. It had old paint and several stains and splatters from undetermined sources. We paid attention to preserving the original design and wood grain.
Step 2: Cleaning and Preparation
To restore this door, it was necessary to start by cleaning it. Our restorers used special solutions and carefully removed the old paint and splatter. This step required care and attention to detail to preserve the unique characteristics of the wood.
Step 3: Surface Restoration
After cleaning the door, we discovered several minor imperfections and chips. Our craftsmen made surface repairs using special materials. They also leveled the surface of the door to ensure a perfect result after painting.
Step 4: Color matching and painting
One of the keys to restoring a door is picking the right color. For this project, we chose a modern, neutral shade that emphasized the beauty of the wood and gave the door a fresh look. The painting was done by craftsmen using quality paints and tools.
Step 5: Finalizing the project
Once the painting was completed, the door took on a new life. It shined again and became a proud part of the building. Preserving the wood grain and removing all the imperfections allowed this door to shine in a new light.
